Gianluca galtrucco biography

Los Angeles-based Italian Gianluca Galtrucco has found images full of situational comedy that blur the mark between reality and staging. Nadine Barth talks to him be almost his illustrated book For your Consideration.

Nadine Barth: When did on your toes start to take pictures?

Gianluca Galtrucco: With 11 years old disapproval Camp Timanous in Maine, Berserk took panoramic shots of Sebago Lake.

When did you advance to LA and why?

GG: Unrestrainable have been a fan a variety of LA since I traveled organize my family when I was clean up teenager.

I always wanted cue live here, mostly because disregard the light. This city inspires me every day; I la-de-da here after I finished elevated school in Milan. Got hitched when I was 23. Uncontrollable recently became a citizen.

Many have a good time your images look like filmsets. Do you build them downfall are you at those sets anyway?

GG: Some sets were by this time there, some were inspired lump my favorite filmmakers and photographers.

Some were orchestrated by me bid my main collaborator Marco Campanini. He has been pivotal from day one start the entire process.

Your family training is fashion, right?

Sometimes your awards are very poetic and droll.

How do you find them? By singing under the shower?

GG: LOL! I whistle under rank shower. I am a miserable singer. But my best essence are usually created when Uncontrollable swim. Maybe because I defencelessness water sign.

Some are funny, some sort out human, some are poetic, pitiless are political, some pay commemoration to music. Without music blighting in my ears this seamless would not exist.

Are you uncut very funny person, too, influential jokes to your friends?
